North Central Idaho

Idaho Repertory Theatre - The Theatre is one of the oldest professional summer theatres in the Northwest and a major cultural resource for dozens of communities in north Idaho. Four plays are produced each summer during the six-week, and presented in classic repertory format for a total of 32 performances. In recent years, the typical season has featured a mystery or drama, a comedy, a musical and a Shakespeare.

Appaloosa Museum - Visitors learn about the history of the Appaloosa horse, which is as unique and colorful as its coat pattern. Exhibits explore the evolution of the breed, its importance to local Native American cultures, its role in the lives of cowboys, rodeos and circuses, and the history of the Appaloosa Horse Club.

Clearwater Historical Museum - View collections that focus on the people and history of Clearwater County and its environs. The museum collections include over 4,500 historical photographs, Nez Perce Indian artifacts, mining and Logging tools, Chinese artifacts, antique guns and lots more.

Lewiston Civic Theatre - The award winning Lewiston Civic Theatre is housed in the historic Bollinger Performing Arts Center. This lovely historic castle-like structure has been home to your theatre since 1972.

Lewis Clark Center for Arts and History - Located in the heart of historic downtown Lewiston, the mission of The Center for Arts & History is to enhance the visibility of Lewis-Clark State College through quality programs in performing arts, visual arts and literary arts. It provides educational opportunities in arts and history for students of all ages and serves as a regional resource for arts and culture.

Nez Perce County Historical‎ Museum - Working to preserve the unique history of Nez Perce County and its environs and to share it with residents and visitors to the museum.

Snake River Adventures - Offers a myriad of exciting and fabulous adventures on the Snake River, the Salmon River, and also the Clearwater River. Excursions such as Hells Canyon Jet Boat Tours, whitewater rafting, guided fishing trips, guided hunting trips, and overnight excursions.

Wolf Education & Research Center - Dedicated to providing public education and scientific research concerning the gray wolf and its habitat in the Northern Rocky Mountains. The Center will provide the public with the rare opportunity to observe and learn more about the wolf in its natural habitat.

River Quest Excursions - Relax on a comfortable and uncrowded jet boat. Enjoy an unhurried day of breathtaking scenery and white water adventure. View bighorn sheep, ancient rock formations and Indian pictographs. Let them guide you through North America's deepest gorge.
