2005 Events

 
March 18-27 - Cherry Blossom Festival, Macon.  Visitors are treated to one of the most extravagant displays of springtime color and blooms in the nation as they visit the town most commonly referred to as the Cherry Blossom Capital of the World.

April 16-June 5 - Georgia Renaissance Festival, Fairburn.  The Georgia Renaissance Festival is the largest themed festival in the Southeast.  (770) 964-8575.

September 26-October 2 - Georgia State Fair, Macon.  The Fair has been held in Macon since 1851 and has a long tradition of family entertainment ranging from its agricultural and artistic craft roots to its carnival midway atmosphere.  (478) 746-7184.

October 1 - CoastFest, Brunswick. Georgia's largest natural resource festival. (912) 264-7218.

October 7-16 - Georgia National Fair, Perry.  A celebration of Georgia's youth, agriculture, and heritage with food, rides, vendors, free family entertainment, free circus, nightly fireworks, and major concerts.  (478) 987-3247.
