Academy Awards Ceremony - The Academy Awards (frequently known as the Oscars) are presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to recognize excellence of professionals in the film industry, including directors, actors, and writers. It is one of the most prominent award ceremonies in the world.

Hollywood Film Festival - In the last 7 years, 65 Oscar nominations and 21 Oscars were given to films that were shown at this annual film festival. This is the Hollywood Film Festival! Held every October, it was designed to "bridge the gap between established Hollywood, indie filmmakers and the global creative community, as well as to honor excellence in the art of film making".

The West Hollywood Costume Carnaval - The West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is the largest Halloween street party in the world. Thousands make their way to the Santa Monica Boulevard to see the craziest costume creations ever. Events include Halloween Costume Contest, the Crowing of the Carnaval queen, live entertainment, food vendors, pumpkin-carving contests, and children's activities throughout the week prior to the party. Admission is free.
