June 25 - 5th Annual Wisconsin Liver Walk, Waukesha. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the river front setting! (414) 961-4936.

June 30-July 10 - Summerfest, Milwaukee.  Celebrate summer at the world's largest music festival. August 2-7 - Wisconsin Valley Fair, Marathon Park, Wausau.  The second largest county fair in Wisconsin. This fair offers families a place to see over 12,000 youth projects, open class exhibits, big name grandstand entertainment and carnival rides.  This 6-day event offers something for kids of every age!  (715) 261-1539.

August 4-14 - Wisconsin State Fair, West Allis.  The state's largest, most historic annual event blends Wisconsin agricultural traditions with the excitement of a contemporary, urban event. International Bazaar, amusement park thrill rides, blue ribbon livestock, 28 stages of top-name entertainment, and world-famous cream puffs entice fairgoers of all ages.  (414) 266-7000.

August 18-21 - Irish Fest, Milwaukee.  The world's largest Irish festival includes world-champion dancing and world-class Irish entertainers on 14 stages.  Cultural exhibits, free kids' activities and the largest Irish marketplace outside of Ireland.  The greenest festival on earth.  (414) 476-3378.

August 27-28 - Festival in the Pines, Eau Claire.  The 22nd annual festival features more than 250 quality arts and crafts booths.  Sample great food from Chippewa Valley restaurants!  Enjoy talented live performers on three stages. August 31-September 5 - Central Wisconsin State Fair, Marshfield.  4-H and open class exhibits, the Central Wisconsin draft horse show, llama show, midway rides, tractor pull, demolition derby, commercial exhibits and special programs.  Plus, grandstand entertainment including Chris Cagle, Mel Tillis, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Blake Shelton.  (715) 387-1261.
