McCormick - Stillman Railroad Park - This parks the most unique park of it's kind in the country. Take a ride on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad and antique carousel. Visit a variety of shops and museum or play in one of the spacious playgrounds, or just relax in the grass under a tree or in one of the park's picnic ramadas.

Festival of the West - Come and enjoy a great time with music, food and contests at the Festival of the West. Family was important in the old west and that focus is carried on at The National Festival of the West. Friday is Kids Day with children admitted Free of Charge to explore and learn about the old west. There are plenty of great children's activities held every day at the Festival.

Fit City - Held in late January at various venues in downtown Scottsdale, such as the Kiva Center, the Main Street Plaza, the Stagebrush Theater, and the Brown and Main Street Farmer’s Market. Celebrate and promote good health. Fit City Scottsdale and its partners work together to promote healthy lifestyle choices in our community that will lead us to be the fittest city in America.

ArtFest! - The annual ArtFest of Scottsdale is one of the valley’s most popular holiday traditions. Downtown Scottsdale features 200 artists from across the country where you can find that one of a kind gift just in time for the holidays. Visitors will enjoy fine art, fine crafts, local authors, live music throughout the festival, taste tempting foods in a beautiful sculpture garden setting.
